Our Staff


Tracey Donaldson: Manager & Exhibitions Curator

Tracey has been with the Museum since 2007. She completed a double major at Carleton University in Art History and English Literature and has also completed a Masters Degree in Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Tracey has experience in art galleries and in summer camps, which prepared her for developing and delivering public programs, workshops and special events, as well as creating new and interactive exhibits. Sue Woodford: Communications Officer

Sue joined the Museum in September 2012. She studied Photojournalism at Loyalist College and worked at the Kanata Kourier-Standard newspaper for 8 years. Following a freelance career in communications she managed the creative services for one of Ottawa’s top real estate teams. In 2012 she received her post-graduate certificate in Interactive Multimedia from Algonquin College. She is responsible for marketing the Museum’s activities and assisting with events and public programs. Sue can be reached at sue@goulbournmuseum.ca

Sarah Holla: Collections Officer

Sarah joined the Goulbourn Museum team in February 2013. She has her honours degree in Classics with a specialization in Ancient Art and Archaeology from Brock University. In 2007 Sarah was able to experience Greek Archaeology first hand while participating in a study tour program with The Canadian Institute in Greece and Brock University. Following the completion of her bachelor’s degree, she completed a post-graduate certificate in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College. Sarah loves working with artefacts and history, has a background in cultural resource management, is an advocate of experiential learning and creating engaging opportunities for public interaction with cultural material. Enya Barbeau: Education Officer

Enya joined the team in summer 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in History and Visual Arts from University of Ottawa and a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from the University Toronto. She comes to Goulbourn Museum with a background in heritage interpretation and public programming. She has also served cultural organizations in the areas of collections management, visitor research, and exhibition development. Enya can be reached at enya@goulbournmuseum.ca .

 

 


Our Board


Ken Cownley: Chairperson

The Chairperson is responsible for the operation of the Goulbourn Museum by: acting as Chairperson at all Board meetings; representing the Goulbourn Museum as required at meetings and events concerning the operation of the Museum with the City and/or the Province; performing all duties that are usual to the office of Committee Chairperson.

Linda Preston: Vice-Chairperson

The Vice-Chairperson shall in the absence of the Chairperson perform all the duties of the Chairperson and such other duties as may be assigned by the Chairperson or Board.

Phil Sweetnam: Treasurer

The Treasurer shall have responsibility for all funds handled by the Goulbourn Museum. The Treasurer shall keep proper records of all receipts and disbursement of the Goulbourn Museum and shall prepare a Financial Statement for presentation at the AGM of the Museum.

Frank Argue: Secretary

The Secretary shall be responsible for the preparation of minutes of the Goulbourn Museum Board meetings, have custody of all books and records concerning all Goulbourn Museum meetings.

Bram Blenk: Director

Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.

John Curry: Director

Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.

 

Tanya Hein: Director

Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.

Glendon Moore: Director

Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.

Hélène Rivest: Director

Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.

Karen Weir: Director
