The Museum cares for 10,000 artefacts and a 40,000 piece archaeological collection. The artefact collections are housed in the History Centre which was built in 1961 and was once the former Clerk building.
COVID PROTOCOL: Due to limited space inside the History Centre it is not possible to maintain a 2-meter distance between visitors. For the safety of our staff and the general public, all visitors are required to wear a mask during the tour.
