This workshop is now sold out.

Learn the basic strokes of calligraphy, how to form letters and write a short message (just in time for the holidays!). You will leave with all the materials necessary to continue practicing at home. Space is limited to allow more one-on-one instruction.

When: Thursday, December 7th from 7-9 p.m.

Cost: $40 per person (price includes materials)

Light refreshments will be provided.

Your calligraphy instructor will be Richard Draffin, a local Kanata scribe with over 40 years experience in calligraphy.  Presently, he does calligraphy for the federal Government as well as teaching and working on his own lettering.  A long-time volunteer at Goulbourn Museum, he has a passion for sharing his craft with others.
