Meet our Board of Directors
Linda Preston: Chairperson
The Chairperson is responsible for the operation of the Goulbourn Museum by: acting as Chairperson at all Board meetings; representing the Goulbourn Museum as required at meetings and events concerning the operation of the Museum with the City and/or the Province; performing all duties that are usual to the office of Committee Chairperson.
Tanya Hein: Vice-Chairperson
The Vice-Chairperson shall in the absence of the Chairperson perform all the duties of the Chairperson and such other duties as may be assigned by the Chairperson or Board.
Ken Cownley: Treasurer
The Treasurer shall have responsibility for all funds handled by the Goulbourn Museum. The Treasurer shall keep proper records of all receipts and disbursement of the Goulbourn Museum and shall prepare a Financial Statement for presentation at the AGM of the Museum.
Tanis Cappello: Secretary
The Secretary shall be responsible for the preparation of minutes of the Goulbourn Museum Board meetings, have custody of all books and records concerning all Goulbourn Museum meetings.
Frank Argue: Director
Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.
John Curry (1947 – 2022)
John Curry was one of the original members of the Museum committee, an inaugural member of the Museum and he was on the Board of Directors from the Museum’s inception until his passing in 2022. John was a journalist, historian and author.
Jennifer Rowland: Director
Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.
Jennifer Smith: Director
Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.
Phil Sweetnam: Director
Directors will serve on the Board to achieve its stated purpose and plan for its future development according to the terms of its Constitution, By-Laws and Statement of Purpose.
Karen Weir: Director
