Social media is a great way for you to keep up with Museum activities! Check out our offerings, or slide into our DM’s and say hello!

Facebook: We use Facebook to showcase photos from recent events, to advertise coming events, and to share community news. Users can comment on the content and staff will reply directly.

Instagram: Every Wednesday we share a photograph of an artefact from the Museum’s collections for our weekly #WhatsItWednesday hashtag theme. Occasionally we post photos from our daily activities, too.

YouTube : On our YouTube channel, we share promotional videos about the Museum and the Ottawa Museum Network, recordings from our programs and activities, and videos about our community.

Blog: We use the blog to share longer articles about our activities, exhibits or ongoing research, to advertise job opportunities, and to profile our summer staff and the vendors in our Old-Fashioned Christmas & Outdoor Artisan Market. While most blog posts are written by staff, some of our volunteers contribute, too.
