Plan Your Visit
Goulbourn Museum is located at 2064 Huntley Road at the corner of Flewellyn Road, just south of Stittsville, Ontario, in the west end of Ottawa. The Museum and History Centre are open from 1-4 p.m. from Wednesday thru Sunday.

Driving directions from downtown Ottawa:
Take Hwy 417 West, and take exit 144 for Carp Road. Turn left onto Carp Road, and continue south toward Stittsville. Turn right on Stittsville Main Street, and continue south until you reach Stanley’s Corners at Huntley Road & Flewellyn Roads (Stittsville Main Street turns into Huntley Road). Go through the intersection, and the Museum and History Centre will be on your right.
Driving directions from Hwy 416:
From HWY 416, take exit 66 for Fallowfield Road and head west. Turn right on Huntley Road. The Museum and History Center are located on your left at the next intersection (Flewellyn Road in Stanley’s Corners), before you go through the stop sign.
Driving Directions from Hwy 7:
From Hwy 7, head south on Ashton Station Road, and follow the slight left onto Ormrod Road and continue onto Flewellyn Road, heading east. At the Stittsville Main Street/Huntley Road intersection at Stanley’s Corners, turn right. The Museum and History Center are immediately located on your right.

Museum Admission by Donation
History Centre – $10.00 per researcher per day
Parking:
Goulbourn Museum has free parking on site. The parking lot is right in front of the History Centre, beside the Museum
Public Transit:
OC Transpo does not go directly to the Museum during our opening hours. The closest bus stop is a 1.6 kilometer walk or bike ride from the Museum. To get there, take the 96 Stittsville to the intersection of Stittsville Main Street and Fernbank Road, and walk south (away from Stittsville) to Flewellyn Road.
Accessibility:
The Museum building has automatic door openers installed outside the washroom and at the Museum’s public entrance. As well, an exterior ramp connects the front sidewalk to the entrance door. In 2011, the washroom was fully renovated by the City of Ottawa with funding from the Museum Sustainability Plan to meet accessibility standards.
The History Center building is not easily accessible to those with mobility issues; however Museum staff are happy to assist you with research in the Museum building if required.
