Goulbourn Museum will be closed from Good Friday until Easter Sunday (March 25-27 inclusive). Following the Easter holiday, the Museum will reopen Wednesday, March 30th at 1 p.m. for it’s regular weekly schedule.

The Goulbourn Museum is seeking Children’s Program Volunteers to assist at monthly Family Craft Days.
Candidates must be good leaders, enjoy crafting and work well with children aged 4 – 11. Dressing up according to the craft day theme and participating in activities is required.
Children’s programs are held on Sundays and volunteers will be needed from 12:00 – 4:30 p.m. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of three dates (see list below).

Children’s Program Volunteers require good communication skills and must be outgoing, friendly and mature.
Successful candidates will be in Grade 9 or above, attend a mandatory orientation session (date to be determined), and be willing to have a police records check. (This volunteer opportunity is not limited to high school students.)
If volunteer hours are required, they will be given for all time spent at the museum. Please note there is no public transportation to the Museum site.
